one of my greatest complaints about our modern society is the general failure to ask questions, be curious, and stay informed. information pours into our homes through gaping holes in our roof known as high-speed internet, social media, radio and cable television. with countless blogs and websites like wikipedia, where anyone can post whatever, fact or fiction, it has become increasingly imperative that we as voters, parents, peers, and students keep abreast of the truth. consult various sources. ask questions. converse with peers. fact check. yeah, it takes a little extra work to stay informed. but do you really want to be a spoon-fed zombie the rest of your life, living within a glass cage manifested by your own ignorance?
